While the world has embarked on a historic effort to end the broader AIDS epidemic as a public health threat by 2030, the potential exists to end paediatric AIDS a decade sooner – by bringing proven prevention and treatment strategies to scale. Towards this end, diverse stakeholders involved in various aspects of the prevention and treatment of paediatric AIDS are joining together in a renewed partnership to maximize coherence and coordination of efforts to end AIDS among children. The session will review the latest data on paediatric HIV and launch this new partnership platform, which aims not to supplant existing initiative but rather to optimize coordination among partners.
